Race, Empire and Education Collective

The history of anti-Roma racism has rarely been considered in global conversations on race and racism. In this session, I aim to: a) place the oppression and the racialization of Roma since the1300s (and perhaps earlier) in the world’s history of race and racism; and b) discuss pillars and manifestations of anti-Roma racism.
